HID lights provide a new driving experience. But one of the biggest problems with new HID lights is that they are incompatible with older cars with classic head lamps. The only solution to kind of issue is by upgrading your head lamps using one of the hid kits. A HID kit is a series of parts you need to upgrade the old halogen head lamp into a HID head lamp. You cannot buy the separately. The package comes along with a do it yourself manual. Usually, HID kit contains HID bulbs, HID ballasts, clamps, wires, and screws, so it is not so hard if you just follow the manual and do it yourself.
High Intensity Discharge or hid, is capable in providing 3 times more light while driving at night, this way the road would be 3 times clearer than you do with halogen headlights. The add-on slim counterbalances in the kits would make the job to install the bulbs in your car easier. You don’t need to question the quality of these HID kits because they are made of high-quality controls and high-end electrical parts. However many of these kits are not suitable for European drivers, since by ECE regulation 48, every hid lights system need to have certain features which have automatic beam leveling control and lens cleaning systems, it works as a safety device to prevent glare harming the other drivers on the road.
